Bourse Yield Highest in 1 Month

The main index of Tehran Stock Exchange closed Sunday trade at 1,439,054 points posting 6.9% growth in the month to December 21 -- the highest monthly return in months. 
According to Eghtesadnews, the Emami gold coin was the second profitable asset in the ninth calendar month. The coin finished Saturday trade at 118 million rials registering 1.96% increase in one month. 
The euro came after with 1.1% monthly growth to be traded at 311,170 rials on Sunday. 
Half Bahar Azadi gold coin registered no significant change. The  Quarter Bahar Azadi coin, however, ended the ninth month at 42 million rials -- 1.18% lower than on November 22. 
US dollar and Emirati dirham fell respectively by 1.35% and 1.81%, becoming the least profitable assets during the month to December 21. 
The domestic forex market has been relatively stable since early last month apparently after optimism grew about a possible ease of banking and financial sanctions under the US president-elect Joe Biden.   
The dollar was traded at 255,000 rials in Tehran’s free market on Sunday and the UAE dirham fetched 70,700 rials.
