The first Internet marketplace called Cheegel has been launched with the objective of indexing, introducing and exporting Iranian products, the CEO of the Export Development Bank of Iran’s Holding Company said.

“In this marketplace, which is accessible in 20 languages, Iranian products can be purchased in both wholesale or retail forms using any kind of currency,” Saeed Mostashar was also quoted as saying by ILNA.

Mostashar added that Iranian companies, both small- and medium-sized ones in particular, that produce goods for exports but do not have the required infrastructure and facilities to offer their products to the international market, can use Cheegel to do so.

Cheegel was launched by Peyk Farzaneh Pouyan knowledge-based company in collaboration with EDBI, the holding of the bank and Fars Province Science and Technology Park.
