Ambassador to Iraq Hassan Danaeifar and Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi held a meeting in Baghdad on Wednesday, IRNA reported.
The two officials discussed the way to expand bilateral relations and exchanged views about the security situation in Iraq and the wider region.
They reviewed the latest developments in the campaign against terrorist groups and underlined the need for the continuation of efforts to contain terrorism in the region and the world.
