A delegation of parliamentarians, led by Vahid Ahmadi, met members of Poland-Iran Parliamentary Friendship Group in Warsaw on Tuesday, ICANA reported. Ahmadi highlighted “the significant role” parliaments and parliamentary friendship groups can play to help improve relations between countries. He underlined the need to enhance parliamentary ties between Iran and Poland. Elsewhere, the lawmaker pointed to the current developments in the region and the threat posed to the world by the growth of terrorism and said, “The transfer of Iran’s experience of fighting terrorism and its security capabilities can help stop expansion of terrorist groups in the region.”
