Over 906,000 tons of goods valued at $401.5 million were exported from Mazandaran Province during the 11 months ending Feb. 19, 2016, the northern Iranian province’s customs administration reported.  Exports from the province show a 48% decline in volume compared with last year’s corresponding period, according to the report.  The customs administration did not mention changes in the value of exports, however. The exported commodities included dairy products, fruit and vegetables, canned food, minerals and industrial products, which were mainly shipped to Iraq, Afghanistan, Central Asian countries and the Persian Gulf states, Mehr News Agency reported. The report added that in the same period, 936 ships berthed at Mazandaran’s ports, indicating a 9% increase.
