About 110,000 tons of dates were exported during March-December, 2015, which registered an 18.5% rise compared with last year’s similar period, according to the Central Organization of Rural Cooperatives of Iran. The price of Iranian dates ranges from $0.9 to $4.4 per kg based on their type and quality. Sistan-Baluchestan, Fars, Kerman and Khuzestan are major date producing provinces in the country, ISNA reported.
