More than $50 million worth of non-oil commodities were exported from Lorestan, mostly to Iraq, Afghanistan, Turkey, Armenia, Romania, Azerbaijan, Germany, South Africa, China, Qatar and the UAE, during the first half of the current Iranian year (started March 21), according to the head of Industries, Mining and Trade Organization of the province, Reza Safi-Khani. He noted that the export value shows a 25% increase compared to last year’s similar period, Mehr News Agency reported. Meanwhile, the province imported more than $32 million worth of goods, mostly raw materials of production units, mainly from China, the UAE, Turkey, Japan, Italy, Taiwan, Sweden, Malaysia and France during the same period.
