More than 613,000 tons of goods worth $436 million were exported via Isfahan Province during the first five months of the current Iranian year (started March 21), which indicates a 16% increase in terms of volume and a 3% rise in value compared to the previous year’s corresponding period, said head of Isfahan’s Customs Bureau, Ahmad Vanhari. The exports included petrochemicals, steel, carpets, ceramic products and dairy with Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Turkmenistan and the UAE as the main destinations. According to the official, the province’s customs revenues during the period soared 25% compared to the similar period last year, Mehr News Agency reported on Wednesday.
