Agreements on cooperation in the fields of economy, culture, education and transportation were signed between Iran and Turkmenistan by Minister of Roads and Urban Development Abbas Akhoundi and Turkmenistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov at the closing of the 14th Joint economic commission in Tehran on Monday. Meredov called for implementation of the agreements signed during President Hassan Rouhani’s last visit to Ashgabat with the aim of increasing bilateral annual trade to $60 billion in the next 10 years, IRNA reported.
