According to data released by the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Customs Administration (IRICA), the southern Boushehr Province with $8.8 billion in exports was ranked first in terms of the value of provincial exports over the past Iranian calendar year (ended March 20). Hormozgan with $6.4 billion, Tehran with $2.6 billion, Khorasan Razavi with $1.7 billion and Khouzestan with $1.3 billion came next. The lowest value of exports was recorded for Yazd and Kordestan provinces with $13.1 million and $24.6 million respectively.
