TEDPIX Snaps Winning Streak

Tehran Stock Exchange’s main index snapped its 11-day winning streak and lost 103 points or 0.11% to end Wednesday trade at 91,152.2.

About 931 million shares valued at $48.94 million changed hands for the day.

Trading at TSE and Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends on Wednesday.  

Iran Industrial Development Investment Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies, as it went down 4.91% to 1,587 rials per share.

Zar Spring Manufacturing Company was the biggest riser, going up 4.99% to 1,010 rials per share.

Bandar Abbas Refinery weighed the most on TEDPIX, followed by Mobarakeh Steel Company and Khouzestan Steel Company.

Iran Telecommunications Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark, followed by Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Complex and Omid Investment Company

The Price Index dropped 33 points to close at 29,215.4.

The First Market Index was down 23 points to post 64,956.2.

The Second Market Index lost 484.60 points to reach 193,007.4.

The Industry Index shed 115.70 points to register 79,992.4.

The Free Float Index gave up 97.08 points to end at 98,557.8.

The TSE 30 inched down 7.10 points to settle at 3,894.4 and the TSE 50 slid 7.2 points to finish at 3,724.5.

Iran Fara Bourse’s main index IFX gained 3.86 points or 0.38% to close Wednesday trade at 1,030.54.

About 465.35 million securities valued at $38.98 million were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

Middle East Mines and Mining Industries Development Holding Company witnessed the highest number of traded shares and trade value, as 183.7 million of its shares valued at $8.14 million were traded.

Shomalshargh Shahrood Industrial and Mining Company, Tabarok Company and MobinOne Kish registered the highest value increase.

Caspian Tamin Pharmaceutical Company, Teliseh Nemooneh Company and Lavan Oil Refinery suffered the biggest decline.

Marun Petrochemical Company, Zagros Petrochemical Company and Middle East Mines and Mining Industries Development Holding Company had the most positive impact on IFX.
