TEDPIX Snaps Winning Streak

Tehran Stock Exchange’s main index shed 83 points or 0.10% to end Sunday trade at 83,345.2.

About 791 million shares valued at $44.94 million changed hands for the day.

Trading at TSE and Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends on Wednesday.

SAIPA incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies, as it went down 15.01% to 1,189 rials per share.

Hamedan Glass Company was the biggest riser, going up 4.97% to 8,256 rials per share.

SAIPA weighed the most on TEDPIX, followed by Mobarakeh Steel Company and Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company.

Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark, followed by Esfahan Oil Refinery and Mobile Telecommunications Company of Iran.

The Price Index shed 26.90 points or 0.10% to close at 26,999.7.

The First Market Index gave up 402 points or 0.69% to post 58,226.

The Second Market Index won 1,687 points or 0.93% to reach 182,606. The Industry Index was down 77.80 points or 0.11% to register 72,371.7.

The Free Float Index dropped 456.70 points or 0.50% to close at 91,361.70.

The TSE 30 lost 25 points or 0.73% to settle at 3,377 while the TSE 50 scored 2 points or 0.06% to finish at 3,271.2.

 IFX Edges Down

Iran Fara Bourse’s main index IFX shed 0.81 points or 0.08% to close Sunday trade at 952.52.

Close to 392 million securities valued at $82.66 million were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

Esfahan Steel Company witnessed the highest number of traded shares, as 46.1 million of its shares changed hands.

Parsian Kowsar Hotel had the highest trade value, as $5.21 million of its shares were traded.

MobinOne Kish, Mavad Vizhe Lia and Saina Company registered the highest value increase.

Yazd Alloy Steel Company, Tuka Paint Company and Shomalshargh Shahrood Industrial and Mining Company suffered the biggest decline.

Esfahan Steel Company, Kosar Insurance and Kerman Development and Construction Company had the most negative impact on the IFB benchmark.
