TEDPIX Inches Closer to Resistance Level

Tehran Stock Exchange’s main index inched up 14 points or 0.02% to end Tuesday trade at 77,975.4.

More than 1.7 billion shares valued at $68 million changed hands for the day.

Pars Refractories Company was the biggest riser, going up 4.99% to 5,870 rials per share.

Borujerd Textile Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies, as it went down 4.98% to 4,137 rials per share.

SAIPA gave the biggest boost to the benchmark, followed by Bank Mellat and Pars Khodro.

Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company weighed the most on TEDPIX, followed by Abidi Pharmaceutical Company and Mobile Telecommunicatiosn Company of Iran.

The Price Index was up 4.90 points or 0.02% to stand at 27,486.8.

The First Market Index gained 36.30 points or 0.07% to post 55,246.1.

The Second Market Index shed 117 points or 0.07% to reach 166,513.

The Industry Index dropped by 19.10 points or 0.03% to register 66,475.2.

The Free Float Index won 98.87 points or 0.12% to hit 85,554.60.

The TSE 30 Index gathered 8.20 points or 0.26% to settle at 3,152.3 while the TSE 50 Index rose by 4.30 points or 0.14% to finish at 3,068.1.

Iran Fara Bourse’s main index IFX gained 0.22 points or 0.03% to end Tuesday trade at 850.24.

Close to 211 million securities valued at $61.5 million were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

Tuka Rail Company saw the highest number of traded shares, as 7.9 million of its shares changed hands.

Pegah Golpayegan Dairy Company had the highest trade value, with the trading of shares worth $1.43 million.

Pegah Golpayegan Dairy Company, Tadbirgaran Fars and Khuzestan Investment Company, and Iranian Investment Corporation showed the highest value increase.

Saina Company, Minoo Shargh Food Industries Company and Goldasht Nemooneh Company had the highest decline.
