Almost 191,000 tons of various commodities were offered on the spot market of the Iran Mercantile Exchange on Monday, the market’s PR and foreign affairs office said in a report.
Some 2,700 tons of bitumen of different grades as well as 100 tons of insulation were offered on the export trading floor.
Nearly 150 tons of rapeseed meal from Argentina worth 17,190 rials per kg was traded on the agricultural trading floor. Moreover, 400 tons of barley, originally imported from Kazakhstan with the base price of 9,210 rials per kg, 1,500 tons of durum wheat, 250 tons of cubic sugar, and 65 tons of maize were supplied on the agricultural trading floor.
Without specifying the weight, the report said Mobarakeh Steel Company (MSC) offered hot rolled steel plate grade C with the base price of 17,077 rials per kg on the industrial and mining trading floor. The company also offered 28,600 tons of hot rolled steel plate grade B.
Besides, the MSC supply more than 6,000 tons of cold rolled steel plate grade B, along with 4,000 tons of galvanized steel plate.
Some 10,000 tons of bloom with the base price of 15,290 rials per kg was also up for grabs on the industrial and mining trading floor, and the volume was open to be increased by another 40,000 tons.
Furthermore, 160 tons of copper wire as well as 100 tons of zinc bullion of 99.98% purity were up for grabs on the IME’s trading board.
The report added that 26,000 tons of various polymers, 23,000 tons of bitumen, 1,000 tons of heavy lube-cut oil, 3,000 tons of vacuum bottoms, and 200 tons of granulated sulfur were supplied on the oil and petrochemical trading floor.
