Iran Mercantile Exchange’s industrial and mining trading board saw 1,000 tons of copper cathode supplied by National Iranian Copper Industries Company at the base price of $4.7 per kg on Saturday.

NICICO’s other offerings included 1,000 tons of copper wires at the base price of $5 per kg, 20,000 tons of low-grade copper, 140 tons of sulfur molybdenum and 18 tons of precious metals concentrate.

Kashan Copper World Company’s name was also on the industrial and mining trading board, as it supplied 100 tons of copper wires at the base price of $5.02 per kg.

The board also played host to 15,100 tons of 18 I-beams, 295 tons of 30-20 I-beams and 217 tons of rebars by Isfahan Steel Company, and 220 tons of A3-10-32 rebars and 1,000 tons of scrap steel by Azerbaijan Steel Company.

Meanwhile, 40,200 tons of bitumen and 6,382 tons of petrochemicals were supplied on the oil and petrochemicals trading board.

The exports trading board witnessed the supply of 4,000 tons of 6070 bitumen and 200 tons of 4050 bitumen.

Finally, 4,000 tons of durum wheat, 4,000 tons of soybeans, 1,000 tons of unprocessed soybean oil, 400 tons of rice bran, 300 tons of white sugar and 130 tons of rice were supplied on the agricultural trading board.

Overall, 100,000 tons of goods were offered on IME’s spot market on the first day of the Iranian month of Azar (started Nov. 22).
