Iran Mercantile Exchange played host to 4,000 tons of copper cathode priced at 164,479 rials per kg as well as 3,500 tons of copper wires at the base price of 171,655 rials per kg offered by the National Copper Industries Company on the industrial and mining trading floor on Saturday. The company also offered 20,000 tons of low-grade copper, 140 tons of molybdenum disulfide and 18 tons of precious metal ore concentrate.
Furthermore, 270 tons of copper wires were offered at the base price of 172,205 rials by Kashan Copper World Industries Company on the same floor.
The agricultural trading floor witnessed the offering of 13,120 tons of corn, 4,550 tons of white sugar, 5,000 tons of wheat, 3,000 tons of unprocessed vegetable oil, 160 tons of rice and 40 tons of soybean meal.
Elsewhere, the petroleum and petrochemicals trading floor featured 34,300 tons of bitumen and 7,784 tons of petrochemicals. Some 2,500 tons of bitumen were supplied on the export trading floor.
Overall, 97,436 tons of various commodities were offered on IME’s spot market on Saturday.
