IME Saturday Report

Iran Mercantile Exchange featured 156,000 tons of 20 types of commodities in the spot market on Saturday. As IME reported, the oil and petrochemical trading floor played host to 24,125 tons of petrochemical including, nitric acid, hydrochloric acid, heavy aromatic distillate, ammonium, p-Xylene, different grades of polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride, toluene diisocyanate and caustic soda. The floor also witnessed the offering of 63,500 tons of bitumen 6070, 85100, MC-250 and emulsion. The export trading floor with only 5.5 tons of various grades of bitumen registered a light volume. More than 29,700 tons of I-beam priced at 18,000 rials per kg were offered by Esfahan Steel Company on industrial and mining trading floor. The agricultural trading floor recorded the offering of 20,000 tons of white sugar, 5,650 tons of corn, 4,100 tons of imported rice as well as 4,00.0 tons of durum wheat.
