National Iranian Copper Industries Company offered 4,000 tons of copper cathodes, 3,500 tons of copper wire, 20,000 tons of low-graded copper, 100 tons of molybdenum sulfur and 12 tons of precious metal concentrates on Iran Mercantile Exchange’s industrial and mining trading floor on Sunday.
According to IME, the floor also played host to 270 tons of copper wire by World Copper Company, 3,000 tons of aluminum ingots of 99.75-percent purity by Hormozgan Steel Company, 3,100 tons of I-beams and 154 tons of rebars of Esfahan Steel Company.
The oil and petrochemical trading floor featured 41,000 tons of vacuum bottoms, 25,000 tons of lube-cut oil, 70,800 tons of bitumen, 3,800 tons of sulfur and 809 tons of other petrochemical commodities.
Close to 12,000 tons of various grades of bitumen and 340 tons of roof insulation were also offered on the export trading floor.
The agricultural trading floor witnessed the offering of 11,000 tons of white sugar, 9,000 tons durum wheat as well as 2,000 tons of imported rice.
The IME’s secondary market featured 400 tons of scrap metals, 50 tons of used engine oil and 4.9 tons of empty barrels offered by Islamic Republic of Iran Railways.
Overall, more than 215,000 tons of commodities were supplied on IME’s spot and secondary markets.
