The National Iranian Copper Industries Company offered 5,000 tons of copper cathodes, priced at $5,737.1 per ton, and 1,000 tons of copper cathodes at the base price of $5,747.1 per ton on Iran Mercantile exchange’s export trading floor on Wednesday. The floor also played host to 23,590 tons of various grades of bitumen, the IME reported.
Esfahan Steel Company offered about 5,000 tons of rebar on the industrial and mining trading floor, which also featured 1,100 tons of rebar bundles supplied by Khorasan Steel Complex Company, 3,000 tons of aluminum ingots of 99.75-percent purity priced at 63,760 rials per kg and 30 kg of gold bullions by Mouteh Gold Complex.
The oil and petrochemical trading floor recorded the offering of 46,400 tons of various grades of bitumen, 20,232 tons of chemicals and 280 tons of liquefied argon gas.
Elsewhere, the agricultural trading floor played host to 10,000 tons of white sugar, 4,350 tons of rice, 4,000 tons of durum wheat, 3,000 tons of rapeseed meal flakes and 2,090 tons of corn.
The secondary market filed the offering of 995 tons of scrap metals supplied by the Islamic Republic of Iran Railways.
In all, more than 134,000 tons of commodities were offered in IME’s spot and secondary market.
