More than 220,000 tons of various commodities were offered in Iran Mercantile Exchange on Monday.
According to IME, 30,000 tons of sulphur lumps were offered on the export trading floor by Shahid Hasheminejad Gas Processing Company at a base price of $124 per ton. As much as 5,700 tons of bitumen were also offered on the floor as well as 100 tons of insulation materials. The oil and petrochemical trading floor witnessed the offering of 48,100 tons of bitumen, 16,176 tons of chemicals, 3,500 tons of sulphur and 280 tons of liquefied argon gas by chemical and petroleum companies.
On the industrial and mineral trading floor, Iran Aluminium Company was in the spotlight. The company offered 1,000 tons of ingots at 65,548 rials per kilogram. The agricultural trading floor played host to 84,090 tons of corn, 8,890 tons of rice, 5,000 tons of sugar and 4,000 tons of durum wheat.
