Iran Mercantile Exchange featured 4,000 tons of rice from Thailand, 3,800 tons of Indian rice and 2,654 tons of local rice on the agricultural trading floor on Saturday trading.
The floor also played host to 87,000 tons of corn, 4,000 tons of durum wheat, 5,000 tons of white sugar and 500 tons of canola.
The industrial and mining trading floor featured 40 tons of steel billet 8-6061 and 40 tons steel billet of 8-6063 supplied by Iran Aluminum Company.
The oil and petrochemical trading floor witnessed the offering of 56,226 tons of various grades of bitumen and 31,246 tons of petrochemicals.
The export trading floor played host to 6,100 tons of bitumen 6070 as well as 100 tons of roof insulation.
Overall, around 107,000 tons of commodities were offered in IME’s spot market on Saturday.
The IME has reported that the mercantile exchange will feature soybean future trading as of June 6 from Saturday to Wednesday 14:00 to 18:00.
