Industrial Production Surveyed

The Ministry of Industries, Mining and Trade's survey of the current Iranian year’s first six months (March 21-Sept. 22) shows the output of 16 industrial products (out of 28) registered growth compared with the similar period of last year.
A total of 4,157 trucks, mini trucks and vehicle pullers were produced during the period, showing a 66.5% year-on-year rise.
More than 668,900 washing machines were produced, up 35.1%.
Carbon black production stood at 80,400 tons, showing a YOY increase of 18.9% while that of polyester filament yarn hit 146,700 tons, registering a 13.8% growth YOY.
