Share Prices Edge Higher

Tehran Stock Exchange's main index, TEDPIX, gained 13,033.45 points or 0.57% on Tuesday to end at 2,288,427.05 while the TSE equal-weighted index climbed 1.43%.
About 11.76 billion shares worth 93.78 trillion rials ($208.4 million) changed hands for the day. Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.
West Cement Industries Company led the winner’s list as its shares jumped 6.93% to 36,560 rials per share. Shahid Qandi Manufacturing Company was the big loser among all TSE-listed companies plunging 4.94% to 4,620 rials per share.
