Tehran stocks were choppy at the close of trading week Wednesday as sell-side pressure in mid-session dragged down prices.
The main index of Tehran Stock Exchange, TEDPIX, ended below the flatline losing 1,475.66 points or 0.10% to end trade at 1,521,391.
The TSE’s equal-weighted index pared some of the early gains but ended in positive territory gaining 0.32%.
About 13.4 billion shares valued at 68.7 trillion rials ($245 million) changed hands at TSE for the day.
Trading at TSE and the junior equity exchange Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.
