Tehran Stocks Slightly Higher

Tehran stocks closed trading week on Wednesday partially recovering from heavy losses a session before.
The benchmark of Tehran Stock Exchange, TEDPIX, gained 2,948.65 points or 0.19% to end trade at 1,526,009.
The TSE’s equal weighted index kept abreast and rose 0.2%. Unlike the market cap-weighted TEDPIX, the latter index gives the same weight to all shares irrespective of the market cap.
About 9.08 billion shares valued at 78.94 trillion rials ($292.4 million) changed hands at TSE for the day.
