The dollar was 0.75% higher Monday in Tehran's free market to reach 250,100 rials.
Bank-affiliated exchange shops quoted the greenback at 243,011 rials, 130 rials higher than the previous day's close.
The dollar was sold at 240,610 rials at the central bank’s regulated market, 0.25% higher than Sunday, according to Eghtesadnews website.
Likewise, the euro gained 0.75% to finish the day at 298,810 rials in the open market. Melli Exchange, affiliated with Bank Melli Iran sold the European currency at 288,720 rials -- 3.1% lower than Sunday's close. One Emirati dirham bought 68,800 rials up 0.43% or 300 rials.
Gold coin prices also increased on Monday reversing a decreasing trend in the past two days. The Emami gold coin was 1.33% higher or 1.4 million rials to finish the day at 105.2 million rials.
Half Bahar Azadi gold coin was traded at 62 million rials, 0.8% higher than previous day's close. The quarter Bahar Azadi coin climbed 1.28% and was tagged at 39 million rials.
