IKIA Registers Over 4,000 Flights in 1 Month

Imam Khomeini International Airport has registered 4,099 flights during the month to Aug. 22.
Farough Alikhani, an Imam Khomeini Airport City official, said a total of 740,719 passengers were transported to and from the airport during the month under review.
He added that 14,411 tons of luggage were transported during the same period, the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development's news service reported.
The number of incoming flights stood at 2,048, along with 355,665 passengers and 6,970 tons of luggage at the airport.
