Shafeie Reelected as ICCIMA President

Gholamhossein Shafei was reelected as the president of the ninth parliament of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture for another four-year term with 302 out of 448 votes on Sunday.
Younes Jaeleh, the head of Tabriz Chamber of Commerce and founder of Shirin Asal Food Industrial Group, was the only other contender. 
Shafei, who has been at the helm of ICCIMA since past three years, was born in 1951 in Qaen, South Khorasan. The ninth ICCIMA election was held on March 2, 2019, IRNA reported.
