Iran traded 8.68 million tons of non-oil commodities worth $10.44 billion with members of the European Union during the last fiscal year (ended March 20, 2019) to register a 14.83% and 22.55% decline in tonnage and value respectively compared to the year before.
Latest data released by the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration show Iran’s exports totaled 1.17 million tons worth $1.07 billion during the period, indicating a 23.71% and 29.77% year-on-year decline in tonnage and value respectively.
Imports stood at 7.5 million tons worth $9.36 billion, down 13.24% and 21.63% in tonnage and value respectively YOY.
