Iran will export 100 tons of trout to Russia in the near future, deputy minister of agricultural Jihad Hassan Salehi, who is also the head of Iran Fisheries Organization, told Mehr news agency on Saturday. Salhi said that the production level of this type of fish is expected to decrease 10 to 15 percent, in the wake of a new disease that has spread in some domestic fishing farms. However, the production fall is not expected to push the prices up in the country, he added.
