Slight Downtick in Iran's Aluminum Output

Iran's major aluminum producers' output stood at 249,017 tons during the nine months to Dec. 21, which indicates a 1% decrease compared with last year's corresponding period, the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization reported.
Flagship producer Iran Aluminum Company accounted for 131,345 tons of the total figure, registering a 3% growth year-on-year, followed by Hormozal Aluminum Company with 71,132 tons (down 10% YOY), and Almahdi Aluminum Company with 46,540 tons (up 2% YOY).
