Iran: Local Firms Will Develop Five Oilfields in Southern Regions

Results of tenders for developing five oilfields in the south and southwest regions have been announced and five companies whose bids have been accepted will sign a contract with the National Iranian South Oil Company, the largest subsidiary of the National Iranian Oil Company, to start working on the fields. 
NISOC, which is responsible for the development of 27 oilfields, announced the tenders and the Ramshir, Kaboud and Lali Asmari oilfields in Khuzestan Province, Gachsaran Khami Oilfield in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province, and Nargesi Oilfield in the province of Bushehr have found contractors for their development, the NIOC news portal reported.
