Iran Clinker, Cement Exports Rise 10%

More than 7.65 million tons of cement and clinker were exported from Iran during the first seven months of the current Iranian year (March 21-Oct. 22) to register a 10.2% increase compared with the similar period of last year.
IRNA also quoted the secretary of the Cement Association, Abdolreza Sheikhan, as saying that more than 50% of exports go to Iraq and Afghanistan.
Sheikhan told Fars News Agency that cement accounted for 3.8 million tons of the exports.
