Iran Ports Authority Signs MoU With Int'l Hydrographic Organization

The Ports and Maritime Organization of Iran and the International Hydrographic Organization signed a memorandum of understanding to boost mutual cooperation on the final day of the 13th International Conference on Coasts, Ports and Marine Structures, otherwise known as ICOPMAS 2018, on Wednesday.

The MoU centers on mathematical models, coastal engineering and coastal zone management, the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development news service reported. ICOPMAS is a biennial event organized by the PMO and in cooperation with the International Coastal and Marine Structural Engineering Association.

It is considered one of the oldest and most important scientific events in Iran and the Persian Gulf region.
