App Offers Health Education to Iranian Kids

A new locally developed mobile app has been launched that provides children, and especially those in school, with educational material in Persian on physical, mental and social health.
The application which is named “Safiran-e-Salamat” (health ambassadors) is available for download on Apple’s App Store and local Android market Cafe Bazaar.
Aimed at raising awareness and training children in various aspects of a healthy life, the application has a user-friendly menu and an attractive graphic design and includes multimedia information.
After signing up in the app, kids will have easy access to the educational material, categorized in several sections, including healthy food, personal hygiene, how to prevent disease, promote environment protection, safety training, and dental health.
