Monday’s trade at the Iran Mercantile Exchange saw 160 tons of scrap locomotive wheel traded on the local trading floor, IME’s public relations and Foreign Affairs Office reported.
Islamic Republic of Iran Railways also offered close to 34 tons of scrap gears, and 15 tons of dynamic braking resistors on the floor’s board.
Almahdi Hormozal Aluminum Company (AHAC) offered 1,600 tons of aluminum ingot 99.97-percent purity, priced at 71,036 rials per kg on the industrial and mining trading floor. Iran Aluminum Company also offered 800 tons of aluminum ingot 99.78-percent purity with the base price of 71,036 rials per kg. Also 20 kg of a variety of gold bullions from Mouteh Gold Complex was offered on the same floor.
The export trading floor played host to 100,000 tons of iron ore, priced at $35 per ton. Some 3,400 tons of bitumen 6070, 3,500 tons of bitumen 85100, and 100 tons of roof insulation were among other commodities supplied there.
Elsewhere, on the oil and petrochemical trading floor, about 26,190 tons of various polymers produced by local suppliers were put up on the board. Moreover, 40,000 tons of bitumen for different applications, as well as 4,000 tons of granulated sulfur were displayed on the floor’s board.
Finally, the board on the agricultural trade floor saw 200 tons of white sugar with the base price of 21,000 rials per kg at Monday’s trading.
Overall, more than 186,000 tons of various commodities were offered on the spot market at the IME.
