Alireza Ghorbani to Perform in Corsica Song Festival

Traditional vocalist Alireza Ghorbani will perform at the Polyphonic Song Festival on the island of Corsica in France, September 11-15.

Ghorbani, 45, is to sing some of his hit songs alongside traditional musicians. Zakaria Yousefi on percussion instruments, Saman Samimi on kamancheh and Milad Mohammadi on tar will accompany Ghorbani, ILNA reported.  

Established in 1989, the Polyphonic Song Festival has featured choristers and soloists from Corsica and the many other countries.

Ghorbani has been the vocalist at the National Orchestra since 1999 and has joined many concerts and festivals in and outside Iran. He has recorded 20 albums and sung in soundtracks and in ending credits of TV series including “British Briefcase,” “The Tenth Night,” and “Zero Degree Turn”.
