Iran’s largest mining holding has concluded the last stage of its largest aerial geophysical survey in the western Kurdestan Province.
The state-owned Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation recently covered the western part of an spanning 1,481 square kilometers of Kurdestan’s Qorveh County, said IMIDRO’s deputy for exploration, Ali Asgharzadeh.
“This area is rich in copper, gold, iron ore and antimony,” he was quoted as saying by IMIDRO’s public relations.
