Historical Hotel Renovation

Yazd’s Hotel Laleh will undergo restorative operations, CHN quoted manager of the hotel Seyed Amir Nasser Tabatabaee. Hotel Laleh, which was previously known as the historical house of Golshan will be revamped to better accommodate the travelers over the Iranian holiday season (March 20 – April 2). The building dates back to the Qajar era.  It was a residential building until 1979, when the place was deserted. Early in 2000, restorative operations started on the building. In 2003, the building became operational as a hotel. Hotel Laleh is located in downtown, near bazaar and shopping malls. There are 42 uniquely designed rooms in the hotel. Balconies, porticoes, and the central courtyard of the hotel provide the guests ample opportunity to mingle and chat. True to the architectural style of the period the historical house is comprised of 3 separate quarters: private, public, and the garden. In 1996 a copper pot of gold coins was unearthed in the house and submitted to Iran’s Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization.
