Tehran Symphony Orchestra will perform on July 19 at the iconic Vahdat Hall in Tehran. It will be conducted by Babak Kazemi who will join the orchestra as guest musician, ILNA reported on its Persian website. Repertoire of the concert includes Symphony No. 3 by German composer and pianist Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1827); the Bat Overture by Austrian composer Johann Stauss II (1825-1899); and Romeo & Juliet Overture by Russian composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky (1840-1893). “To me composing and conducting are inseparable. They complement each other in so many ways. I believe interpreting the music is the most important task of a conductor. On the other hand, the ability to analyze and interpret music is one of the fundamental skills that each composer must acquire,” Kazemi wrote on his website Babakkazemi.com.  Tickets to the concert are available at Iranconcert.com. Vahdat Hall is located on Shahryar Blvd., Hafez Street, south of Enqelab Avenue.
