Paad Cultural Center will have a single screening of “Happy End”, the 2017 film by Austrian filmmaker and screenwriter Michael Haneke on May 25, Tiwall.com wrote.
Written by Haneke, it is a satirical drama that depicts a middle class family in the French city of Calais dealing with a series of setbacks of their own life and almost ignoring the grim conditions of the refugee camps located within a few miles from their home.
The movie rehearses almost all of Haneke’s classic themes and visual ideas – family problems and poisonous suppression of guilt.
Among the cast are Isabelle Huppert, Jean-Louis Trintignant, Mathieu Kassovitz, Franz Rogowski, Fantine Harduin and Laura Verlinden.
The cultural center is located at No. 30, Mohajer Alley, Iranshahr Street.
