Iranian automaker and local partner of Hyundai Motor is set to unveil the South Korean firm's small SUV Kona by late June.
According to Kerman Motor's marketing manager, the Kona will be officially unveiled by Iran's second largest private manufacturer in late June, though the model's specifications for the local market have not been decided yet.
"Hyundai's latest crossover will be delivered to buyers by the end of the current fiscal [which ends in March 2019]," Hassan Akbari was quoted as saying by automotive website Asbe Bokhar.
The small SUV is scheduled to enter the Persian Gulf market in the coming months, equipped with a 2L engine, 147 hp, six-speed automatic gearboxes, and 2WD drivetrain.
