Etisalat has announced a partnership with the Department of Culture and Tourism and Abu Dhabi Airports to offer all visitors a customized Visitor Pack. As part of the partnership, passengers arriving at Abu Dhabi International can collect the Visitor Pack from the Department of Culture and Tourism visitor information counter.
The package includes a complimentary SIM card and a booklet of vouchers offering deals and discounts on theme parks, restaurants, shopping and other lifestyle categories, the Arabian Business reported. The Department of Culture and Tourism said it plans to roll out Etisalat’s services across their visitor information center network at the airports, cruise terminal and other access points for tourists visiting the Emirate.
“Etisalat has partnered with leading brands providing us an opportunity to contribute to the tourism sector in the country," Khaled ElKhouly, chief consumer officer at Etisalat, said.
Sultan Al Dhaheri, acting executive director of Tourism, Department of Culture and Tourism, said: “Abu Dhabi welcomed over 4.4 million guest arrivals last year, and we are looking forward to a successful partnership with Etisalat to launch customized packages and services for all Abu Dhabi tourists.”
Abdul Majeed Al Khoori, acting CEO of Abu Dhabi Airports, added: “We continuously strive to ensure that all passengers arriving at Abu Dhabi International Airport experience first class customer service across our terminals. We are confident that the new initiative will be well received by visitors to Abu Dhabi.”
