Iranian short film ‘The Hose’ directed by Mansour Forouzesh and starring Sirous Hemmati and Kasra Jourabloo will be screened at the 8th International Children’s Film Festival in Bangladesh.
Founded in 2008, the annual festival is the biggest film event in Bangladesh and open to films from different countries worldwide, MNA reported.
Sponsored by Bangladesh Association of Children and UNICEF, the festival will be held from January 24-30, 2015.
‘The Hose’ is a 15-minute movie narrating the story of punishing a child who is not able to speak. It is directed by Mansour Forouzesh and was produced in 2014.
Experiencing its seventh presence in international events, the film was earlier screened at New Directors/New Films Festival in Portugal. It was also nominated for Best Short Film at the International Short Film Festival in India.
