Tehran Stock Exchange’s main index lost 460.95 points or 0.48% on Wednesday compared to the day before to end trade at 96,287.1.
About 958 million shares valued at $49.36 million changed hands at TSE for the day.
Trading at TSE and Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends on Wednesday.
TSE Financial Institutions was the biggest riser, going up 4.98% to 3,248 rials per share.
Kharg Petrochemical Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies, as it went down 5.87% to 24,198 rials per share. It was the biggest laggard behind the benchmark’s fall, followed by Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company and Mobarakeh Steel Company.
