Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture hosted a joint forum between Iranian and Czech businesses in Tehran on Tuesday.
Based on the latest Eurostat figures shared with Financial Tribune, trade between Iran and Czech Republic stood at €70.77 million in 2017, indicating a 24% increase compared with the previous year.
Iran exported €3.65 million worth of commodities to the European country over the period, indicating a 23.82% rise year-on-year. The main exported items were furniture, bedding, cushion and lamps, edible fruit and nuts, peel of citrus fruits or melons, plastic products, iron and steel and natural or cultured pearls, precious or semi-precious stones and precious metals.
