A lawmaker said the recent US decision to speed up the timetable for moving its embassy in Israel to Beit-ul-Moqaddas is a sign of Washington’s global isolation after it failed to line up any major country with its provocative move. In an interview with ICANA on Tuesday, Qasem Jasemi, a member of Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, said, “Beit-ul-Moqaddas will never become the capital of the Zionist regime because Quds is the inseparable part of Islam.” Jasemi slammed the US move as a flagrant violation of international laws and said the decision would only backfire and bring more difficulties for the Israeli regime.
