Local auto parts maker Noor-e Neyriz Alu Wheel Co (NNA) inaugurated a new aluminum car wheel factory on Saturday in Neyriz, 200km east of Shiraz in Fars Province. Fars Industrial State Co (Farsiec) has supported the project. According to Farsiec CEO Ahmad Fotohi, “€30 million has been invested in the construction of the factory.” He said 520 people are working for NNA and the plant will increase the firm’s nominal annual output to 2.1 million car wheels, the company’s website reported. NNA also produces engine parts. First Vice President Es’haq Jahangiri and Industries Minister Mohammad Shariatmadari were present at the factory’s inauguration ceremony.
