French chamber music Trio Chausson will hold a concert at Niavaran Cultural Center in north Tehran on January 17.

Classical pieces will be performed by Boris de Larochelambert on the piano, Antoine Landowski on cello and Leonard Schraber on the violin, ILNA reported.

Inspired by French romantic composer Ernest Chausson (1855-1899), the trio was founded in 2001 by Landowski, Larochelambert and violinist Philippe Talec who was replaced in 2015 by Schraber.

The trio has performed in some of the most prestigious halls across the world including Carnegie Hall in New York; Wigmore Hall in London; Wiener Musikverein in Vienna, Austria, Munich Hercules Hall and Cologne Philharmonic Hall in Germany; Cité de la Musique and Salle de l’Auditorium du Louvre in Paris; as well as St. Petersburg Philharmonic Hall in Russia.

The upcoming concert is part of the annual Fajr International Music Festival (January 10-20). Tickets are available at Iranconcert.com.
