There will a 10-fold increase in the national bandwidth by the end of the current calendar year (March 20, 2015), said Mahmoud Khosravi, deputy minister of Communications and Internet Technology.
The project is meant to prepare the establishment of the national information network infrastructure, which will reduce dependence on the World Wide Web, Mehr News Agency reported.
